The Mission
StartUP@Plovdiv 2010 is an independently organized event on the model of Startup Conference.
Startup Conference is an annual forum, which brings together enterpreneurs, investors, students and young people, trying to make a business. It goals to awaken the enterpreneur spirit in all young people in Bulgaria and to show them how to make their ideas for a successful business come true.
The Organizer
StartUP@Plovdiv 2010 is held by the team: Maya Bankova, Geno Roupsky, Peycho Suvandzhiev,
under the exclusive licence of StartUP Foundation.
The program
During the Conference experienced enterpreneurs, business angels and CEOs share their precious experience and philosophy of making business. The program of the forum will follow the basic steps that a young enterpreneur has to take in the process of realising their business ideas.
The Participants
The participants in the Startup Conference are young enterpreneurs, starting companies, investors, students and young people, trying to make a business of their own.

- The program is divided in two: “People who want to startup” and “People, that already started business”.
- Duration of the conference – 9 days!
- Special attention was payed on the membersand their relations.
Startup Conference 2007 » 3.-4. and 10.-11. November 2007, Sofia
- The program followed chronologically the basic stagesof a startup. From the idea, through the planning, financing, registration to the management of the growth throughout the first few years.
- The first big conference in Bulgaria that is broadcasted live over the Internet.
- The first majour event that teaches students how to tart their own business.
- The biggest conference of enterpreneurship in Bulgaria – 850 registrated participants.
- This is the first conference in Bulgaria, where starting businesses make elevator pitch.
